The LINK programme in Applied
Genomics was jointly funded by the DTI, the MRC
and the BBSRC.
The overall objective of this programme was to encourage research collaborations
between industry and academia which will use genome sequence and genetic
data to identify new functionalities in biological systems that are
capable of exploitation in the healthcare industries.
This
highly successful funding programme is now closed.
The Programme
was co-ordinated by the Programme Co-ordinator, Dr
Celia Caulcott.
